Animal Behavior College Service Dog Training Graduate Mikayla Day ABC-SDT, FFCP is available to offer assistance to owner- trainers training their own service dog as well as fully train service dogs for their handler.
Programs Available
Owner-Trained with Full Assistance
This program is designed for the person who would like to train their own service dog but with help every step of the way. With this program Mikayla and you will work together from the very beginning before puppy even comes home.
Together you will create a task list, service puppy proof the home, temperament test puppies and pick the perfect puppy prospect. (Cost of puppy not included) Following this you will meet with Mikayla Bi-Weekly for training lessons (Can be Virtual for those not nearby) . Mikayla will provide weekly and monthly training plans. Included are two 2-week board & trains to polish task training and public access training. (Handler may stay nearby with dog or take dog home for the evenings.) Assessments will take place at each training phase and upon passing projects will receive level patches for their vests. Service Puppy, Service Dog in Training, and Service Dog. A Public Access Test and Graduation is conducted at the end of the program. This program is designed for a full year of support, However all dogs learn at different paces and additional months are available to be added.
Initial Year Cost: $6,000
Monthly Payments of $500 also available.

Owner- Trained with Half Assistance Program
This program is designed for the handler who would like to owner-train with structured assistance at a more affordable rate. This program starts at the very beginning before the puppy even comes home. Together you will create a task list, service puppy proof the home, temperament test puppies and pick the perfect puppy prospect. (Cost of puppy not included) Following this you will meet with Mikayla monthly for training lessons. Mikayla will provide and monthly training plans. Included is one
2-week board & trains to polish task training and public access training. (Handler may stay nearby with dog or take dog home for the evenings.) Assessments will take place at each training phase and upon passing projects will receive level patches for their vests. Service Puppy, Service Dog in Training, and Service Dog. A Public Access Test and Graduation is conducted at the end of the program. This program is designed for a full year of support, However all dogs learn at different paces and additional months are available to be added.

Monthly Payments of $350 also available.
Virtual Program
This program is designed for the owner-handler that may not be near to Mikayla (Central KY) or wants a smaller program. Together you will create a task list and desired traits for a prospect. You will also brainstorm ways to service dog prospect proof your house. Following this you will meet virtually with Mikayla Monthly (additional lessons are available). Mikayla will also provide monthly training plans.
